In 2003, a South Korean action thriller film was released. It was co-written and directed by Park Chan-wook. This film follows Oh Dae-Su, who is locked in a hotel room for 15 years against his will. During his time in confinement, he learns that his wife has been murdered and he is the main suspect. Just before escaping, Dae-Su is sedated, hypnotized and wakes up on a rooftop dressed in a suit. After his release, he searches for the truth about who and why he was held, hostage. It’s a classic story of Vengence and Truth, all locked into a full out adventure.   • 1 part Lychee Liqueur
  • 1 part Passion Fruit Ligueur
  • 1 1/2 parts Spiced Rum
  • 2/3 part Lemon Juice or to your own taste
  • Top off with Papaya Jouice
  • Pour over ice and stir in a lovely Collins Glass

While you are sipping this delicious drink, we recommend a beautiful little movie called by the same name. Somewhere in Time is a 1980 American romantic science fiction drama film directed by Jeannot Szwarc. The film stars Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour, and Christopher Plummer.

Reeve plays Richard Collier, a playwright who becomes obsessed with a photograph of a young woman at the Grand Hotel. Through self-hypnosis, he travels back in time to the year 1912 to find love with actress Elise McKenna (portrayed by Seymour). However, this relationship may not last as long as the two of them think; Elise’s manager, William Fawcett Robinson (portrayed by Plummer), fears that romance will derail her career and resolves to stop him.

Bloody Psycho

This drinks has all the makings of a movie, so why not pair it with a good Psycho movie.

  • Splash of Orange Liqueur
  • Splash of 151-Proof Rum
  • 1 part Irish Cream Liqueur
  • Layer each of these items in a shot glass
  • Drink safe and Never Drive Drunk

We recommend the 1960 American psychological horror film directed and produced by Alfred Hitchcock, and written by Joseph Stefano. It stars Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, John Gavin, Vera Miles, and Martin Balsam, and was based on the 1959 novel of the same name by Robert Bloch.

If you are into newer remakes then why not try this film version of the 1998 American horror film produced and directed by Gus Van Sant for Universal Pictures and starring Vince Vaughn, Julianne Moore, Viggo Mortensen, William H. Macy and Anne Heche in leading and supporting roles.

Boogie Nights Margaritas

If you have heard our podcast on Boogie Nights, you know that we were having some amazing Boogie Night Margaritas. Here is the poor man’s version of margaritas that we have made.

Powell & Mahoney Skinny Margarita Mix – 3 oz
Arrow Triple Sec Orange Liqueur – 1 oz
Silver Tequila – 1.5 oz.
Limes – 2-3
Agave Syrup- 1 teaspoon

Instructions
Add Triple Sec, tequila, Powell & Mahoney Margarita Mix, Agave Syrup and a slice of Limes to a cocktail shaker
Fill with ice
Cover and shake until well mixed
Rim a rocks glass with Jose Cuervo Margarita salt and fill with ice
Strain cocktail into a glass
Garnish with a lime slice
