Are you ready for some juicing? – Turbo Kid – Film Review

 

If you are into the 80’s style of low budget films, then you will enjoy this podcast on the amazing Turbo Kid. In an alternate 1997, maybe even in a different dimension, a post-apocalyptic group of left over look a likes from the 1980’s exist in a land called “The Wasteland”.   It’s constant battle to survive in this Zeus controlled water deprived area 54.

The Kid, a teenage comic book fan, searches the waste land to find items to be able to trade for water.  He runs into a ever loving free-spirited,  Apple.   Make sure to join us on this ride of lifetime.

Parasite- A Masterpiece

This week’s movie review is about two families who come together to become a well-oiled machine. The Kim family is from the lower level of society, but have developed ultra street smarts. The Parks family is from the high-class wealthy nature living in an architectural marvel of a house.

We are talking about the darkly hilarious and heart-wrenching film, Parasite, from Koren director, Bong Joo Ho. This film is not short on substance. It comes from a well know Koren director who has produced some of the great films of the last fifteen years, including Snowpiercer, Mother, Host, and Memories of Murder.
