Time Bandits is a film from 1981 film directed by Terry Gilliam. In this film, you follow a young boy named Kevin as he travels around with a group of criminal dwarfs through time and history. In this movie, you see everything from robing Napoleon, to meeting Robin Hood, all the way to ancient Greece. Time Bandits is a movie that can be watched by all ages as it has the lighthearted fun story of following a young boy through history, yet also has some jokes intended for the older viewers that you might miss if you aren’t paying close enough attention. Though this film is approaching almost 40 years since its original release, it still is viewed and discussed to this day and will be remembered as one of Terry Gilliam’s classic comedies.

You don’t have to live in the south to love this cooler; it’s good any place that you might want to drink it. The Hillybilly Buttkicker has a little extra kick to it, so you might want to turn on the TV and put a good movie into the DVD player so that you don’t need to worry about anything the rest of the evening. Be careful because this drink has some extra pop to it, and we don’t want you to lose the remote control.

  • 1 part Southern Comfort©
  • 1 part Gin
  • 1 part Vodka
  • 1 part Orange Juice
  • 1 part Grenadine
  • Top off to taste with Ginger Ale
  • Pour all of this over top of some ice in a Tom Collins Glass and Stir

Now all you need is some good Hillbillies on the tube, and you are ready for a perfect evening with friends. We recommend these for your next party.

Of course, she has been helping folks find their ways to great films from near and far for many years. Her knowledge kept growing while working in stores like Blockbuster, Media Play, and the legendary VisArt where she was an assistant manager for seven years. Her collection is made up of over five thousand movies on DVD’s, VHS, Beta Tapes and even Laser Disk. Yes, young folks, these are real things and they are still floating around out there if you look carefully for them. I can tell you that she brings some humor and one of the best laughs in the business to our podcast. Make sure to give her a big shout out when you see her in person!!!
