Krampus is a 2015 American Christmas comedy horror film based on the Austro-Bavarian folklore character, Krampus. The story follows a dysfunctional family squabbling causes a young boy to lose his festive spirit. Doing so unleashes the wrath of Krampus, a fearsome, horned demonic beast in ancient European folklore who punishes naughty children at Christmastime. As Krampus lays siege to the neighborhood, the family must band together to save one another from a monstrous fate.
This week’s movie review is about two families who come together to become a well-oiled machine. The Kim family is from the lower level of society, but have developed ultra street smarts. The Parks family is from the high-class wealthy nature living in an architectural marvel of a house.
We are talking about the darkly hilarious and heart-wrenching film, Parasite, from Koren director, Bong Joo Ho. This film is not short on substance.
