Vertigo on steroids!!!

Welcome back to another exciting time with an extraordinary film. This 1958 classic stars James Stewart as former police detective John “Scottie” Ferguson. The film is from The Master of Suspense, Alfred Hitchcock, who brought us such great films as Rear Window, Psycho, North by Northwest, and Catch a Thief. Of course, we are talking about one of the first 25 films selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the United States National Film Registry. If you haven’t guessed it by now, we are spinning our way into the complete message of the genuinely unique cinematic film, Vertigo. 2020 is looking alot like THE MATRIX.

In this week’s episode, we will be going into the X and O’s of The Matrix. This 1999 American science fiction action film written and directed by the Wachowskis is one of those films that is just as present today as it was back in 1999. It stars Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving, and Joe Pantoliano and is the first installment in the Matrix franchise. The film tells the story of seven children in Derry, Maine, who are terrorized by the eponymous being, only to face their own personal demons in the process. The film is also known as It: Part 1 – The Losers’ Club. The film is directed by Andy Muschietti and written by Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman.

Our film this week is House from 1986.  House is a  American comedy horror film directed by Steve Miner and stars William Katt, George Wendt, Richard Moll, and Kay Lenz.   The movie tells the story of a troubled author who lives in his deceased aunt’s house and soon falls victim to the house being haunted.
