Kent Smith is an award-winning photographer and award-winning director based out of Charlotte, N.C. His career started with sports. Since then he has added diversity to his award-winning resume; photographing musicians, dancers, models, celebrities and then onto national advertising. He has shot the likes of Obama and Bono; been from Belize to the Bahamas; photographed banks and bulls bust mostly, he has captured that genuine human spirit that is often overlooked by the ordinary. He has also added feature films to his resume. He completed his first feature film as a creator, co-writer, producer, and it was awarded, Best Director on the film at the Solstice Film Festival in Minneapolis. He is currently working on directing national and international commercials for some major clients.​

Boogie Nights Margaritas

If you have heard our podcast on Boogie Nights, you know that we were having some amazing Boogie Night Margaritas. Here is the poor man’s version of margaritas that we have made.

Powell & Mahoney Skinny Margarita Mix – 3 oz
Arrow Triple Sec Orange Liqueur – 1 oz
Silver Tequila – 1.5 oz.
Limes – 2-3
Agave Syrup- 1 teaspoon

Instructions
Add Triple Sec, tequila, Powell & Mahoney Margarita Mix, Agave Syrup and a slice of Limes to a cocktail shaker
Fill with ice
Cover and shake until well mixed
Rim a rocks glass with Jose Cuervo Margarita salt and fill with ice
Strain cocktail into a glass
Garnish with a lime slice

Long Live the Queen

If you have not seen the Bohemian Rhapsody movie, then I would highly recommend checking it out this weekend. This is an exciting view in watching the real show and then seeing the fantastic acting by Rami Malek who plays Freddie Mercury. Rami Malek won several awards, including the Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and British Academy Film Award for Best Actor for his role in the movie.
